The Leeds International Piano Competition has been attracting the world’s finest pianists to the city since 1963, and this year’s competition is no different - bringing 24 of the very best pianists from 16 countries to the city.
On Friday 14th September 2018, watch three of the final five competitors as they each perform a full concerto with the Hallé Orchestra. Broadcast live from Leeds Town Hall on the Millennium Square big screen, you can hardly get closer to the action! This is a great way to feel the excitement of truly brilliant pianists competing for one of classical music’s most prestigious prizes.

- Food and drink will be available in Millennium Square, or bring a picnic (and deck chair too) and enjoy an evening of virtuoso al fresco music for free!
- No glass can be brought into this event.
