I’ve written some dynamic markings into the score, but you are also free to add your own. Aim to practise each bar as a chord – this way you will be able to locate notes and fingerings that much quicker.

When playing the quaver patterns as written, be sure to use a very smooth legato touch, and take note of the tenuto markings. The sustain pedal will add a lovely resonance throughout each bar.
