Yamaha announce their new Piano Upgrade promotion

A great deal more for your old piano

Has your piano seen better days and reached its sell-by date? Perhaps it’s just not keeping up with your musical ambitions? Well that could all change from September as Yamaha announce their amazing new Piano Upgrade promotion – a fantastic opportunity to affordably upgrade to a new Yamaha piano and get a great price for your (perhaps) much-loved but outdated model.

The promotion offers individuals, schools, colleges, venues and institutions up to an additional £1250 part-exchange allowance on their current digital or acoustic piano when they purchase any of Yamaha’s revolutionary TransAcoustic or award-winning Silent Grand and Upright instruments.

The Europe-wide campaign goes live on September 1st and will run until 15th January 2017.

Yamaha’s Leanne Barrell comments, “There’s never been a better time to get your old piano valued and receive a great upgrade price on a brand new Yamaha Silent or TransAcoustic piano!

“Both these ranges are becoming extremely popular as customers recognise the practical and creative benefits of this new technology, including being able to practice silently on headphones, digitally record your work, and access a huge range of software available online.”

Yamaha’s Silent Pianos were recently awarded an international Quiet Mark by the Noise Abatement Society. They can be played conventionally or silently through headphones and, when the silent function is activated, the hammers no longer strike the strings. Instead, highly sophisticated sensor-technology captures the movements of the keys and sends the data to a digital tone module packed with extraordinarily faithful recreations of piano and other instrument sounds. The result is a real acoustic piano that can be played at any time without disturbing others, and connected to the latest apps for an expanded range of performance and learning options.

Yamaha’s revolutionary new TransAcoustic grand and upright pianos are traditional pianos with a brilliant technological twist that opens the next chapter in the development of the acoustic instrument: a piano with a volume control!

This extraordinary new instrument represents a total redesign of the traditional piano. Redefining the possibilities available to pianists, teachers and composers alike, the TransAcoustic’s soundboard is transformed into a loudspeaker, allowing the player to adjust the volume acoustically, and making available a wide variety of keyboard and digital instrument sounds.
