The South Korean pianist has been forced to cancel five upcoming dates, including two London dates
Yunchan Lim has been forced to cancel upcoming tour dates due to a strain in his hand. He is currently undertaking physical therapy in order to rectify the issue.
The following dates have been cancelled:
- 27 March – Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London
- 30 March – Peralada Festival, Spain
- 6 April – Gewandhaus, Leipzig
- 8 April – Wigmore Hall, London
- 10 April – Fondazione La Società dei Concerti, Milan

In a statement, Lim said, "Performing and sharing music is my great joy, and I am heartbroken that I am unable to give these concerts. I am so sorry for any disappointment this causes. I am working with doctors for a quick recovery and to prevent a similar problem in the future.
“I offer my deepest apologies and thank you for your understanding. I look forward to returning to play with these incredible orchestras and concert and recital halls in the near future.”
