Utilising the same hammering system and spring-less mechanism as a grand piano, the GH3X action in the CLP-625 accurately reproduces the touch of an acoustic instrument: from the heavy feel in the lower register to the lighter touch in the upper octaves. The escapement feel of an acoustic grand is also recreated here, alongside synthetic key tops giving the feel of ivory and ebony.

The Yamaha CLP-625 has a sound and a feel that truly draws you in and this doesn’t stop when playing with headphones: the CLP-625 has binaural sampling. Connect headphones and the sound you hear from the CFX is recorded and reproduced in a way that gives the impression it is coming straight from the body of the piano.
