Haessler K118 by Blüthner
It is a rare thing for a manufacturer to be in a position to create a new and completely separate brand identity alongside its well-established primary range with its own distinctive voice and virtues, but Blüthner has achieved precisely that with the Haessler range of instruments.

The Blüthner K118 offers greater resonance and warmth than its smaller sibling the K115. It also brings with it, a practice pedal, which can be a very welcome addition to the family members and neighbours of an aspiring pianist. This makes the K118 an ideal piano for any player who is seeking to widen his or her familiarity with the instrument.
Each piano is handcrafted from start to finish in the Blüthner factory in Leipzig where the attention to detail is second to none. The two marques share many components and are built by the same technicians. With Abel hammers and a Renner action the K118 is responsive and with a singing tone synonymous with the Blüthner brand, yet with a smaller price tag.
Blüthner offers the option with all ranges of their instruments to fit a silent system. This option allows the player to ‘switch off’ the acoustic element of the piano and practice privately with headphones. With over 80 different sounds, metronome, recording capabilities, USB and even use your acoustic piano as a MIDI controller, the Moontime system provides limitless possibilities to practice, record and perform.
