Casio GP-400BK
The GP-400BK is Celviano Grand Hybrid’s most recent model, supplied in a stylish black satin finish.
This highly accomplished piano is part of a unique collaboration between C. Bechstein and Casio. This combines traditional piano craftsmanship with Casio’s wealth of expertise in digital technology. The GP-400BK is designed with a curved rear panel and thicker side panels and legs, thus ensuring an even more natural piano sound-field and nuanced depth of sound. The height from the keyboard to the music rest has also been made the same as a conventional grand piano; a detail often neglected in digital piano manufacture and yet here in all its authenticity for the discerning pianist’s pleasure.
The AiR Grand Sound Source technology reproduces the distinctive appeal of three prestigious grand pianos that have been highly regarded for many years. The Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein and is based on the masterpiece that is the D282. It offers balanced, elegant sound with a clearly defined shape. The Hamburg Grand delivers brilliantly rich, resonant sound full of dynamism and power. The Vienna Grand offers an impressive low range which is particularly suited to exquisite, softly played pieces.
The revolutionary Natural Grand Hammer Action keyboard is made with full-length wooden keys and delivers authenticity from the first touch. Its mechanism incorporates hammers that follow the same path of motion as in a concert grand piano.
Precision-made wooden keys are manufactured from the same high grade Austrian spruce used for C. Bechstein grand piano keys: they offer distinguished touch and responsiveness.
The GP-400BK includes further enhancements made possible by Celviano Grand Hybrid technology including Concert Play and Hall Simulator.
