There is time until March 3rd to register for the 26th edition of the Friuli Venezia Giulia International Piano Competition, a prestigious event celebrating musical talent and piano passion!
Piano FVG will organise the competition in the picturesque setting of Sacile, a charming place near Venice, known for its warm welcome.
It will be divided into two phases: the first from May 6 to 10, 2025, with performances in rounds I and II on compulsory and free-choice pieces, while the second phase will be held from May 6 to 9, 2026, culminating in a third round with a solo recital and concert accompanied by the FVG Orchestra.
This year too, competitors will have the opportunity, thanks to the technical partner FAZIOLI, to perform on a FAZIOLI F278 piano. This very high-quality instrument will help make the experience even more memorable!
With a total prize pool of €41,000, of which €20,000 will be awarded to the winner, and several special prizes, this is an opportunity not to be missed for young musicians. Registration is open until March 3, 2025, and can be made on the competition's website.
Participating in this competition is not only an opportunity to win prestigious prizes, but also a unique chance for pianists to perform in front of an international jury of experts, composed of world-renowned pianists and music critics; during the 26th edition, the jury will be led by the President of the Jury Anna Kravtchenko (Italy).
In 2025 she will be joined by Fu Hong (China), Giuseppe Andaloro (Italy), Muriel Chemin (France) and Pavel Gililov (Ukraine).
In 2026, the jury members will be: Carles Lama (Spain), Fu Hong (China), Jean-Marc Luisada (France), Pavel Gililov (Ukraine), Roberto Prosseda (Italy), Vincenzo Balzani (Italy).
